Cardiothoracic Surgery Meeting
If you are involved in cardiothoracic surgery, then it’s a good time to register for the 2019 Annual Meeting of The Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain and Ireland (SCTS).
Held from 10th to 12th March at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London, there will be a packed programme of abstract presentations on different aspects of cardiothoracic surgery.
These include topics as diverse as ‘Recent trials in Coronary Surgery’, ‘TAVI or surgery for prosthetic valve failure’, ‘Lung cancer: current therapies and new targeted treatments’ and ‘Cardiac Surgical Site Infections: Are We Doing Enough?’
Those registering for the SCTS Annual Meeting can also buy tickets for the Annual Dinner, to be held on Monday 11th March. Taking place at Underglobe in London, tickets include welcome drinks, a three-course meal and entertainment.
