Hip & Knee Replacement as a Day Case

Thursday 20 September 2018
De Vere West One Conference Centre, London

This conference will look at the progress of the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s enhanced recovery programme for hip and knee arthroplasty. This has resulted in length of stay reducing to same day discharge for some patients and a mean of 2.5 days for all NHS patients.

Other centres will also discuss their hip and knee replacement pathways and there will also be opportunity for discussion with speakers and experts from BADS.

BOA Centenary Congress 2018

Themed around ‘Taking stock: Planning the future’, the British Orthopaedic Association’s centenary congress will look at the growth and value of the BOA since 1918.

Including a programme of specialist topics such as trauma, spines and The National Joint Registry, the BOA congress will also host a number of educational sessions tailored for the needs of medical students through to consultants.
